  • We just wanted to take a moment to highlight some wonderful accomplishments our son has experienced over the last three years with the support of Ms Green. We know that young adults, such as our son, don't come to her with a clean slate. Ms. Green got to know our son, nourished his dreams, worked with his issues of self-confidence, independent living, self advocacy and we are so grateful for her personalized support. It wasn't just our son who she worked with, to be honest. She had taught us so much about being a parent of a neurodiverse young adult. We wish we would have met with Ms Green some years earlier. Our son just started at the University of his dreams this fall, living in his own apartment, attending classes in the mainstream of other students and advocating for himself with the resources available at school. We would not have envisioned the path he is on now several years ago, to be honest. The mentoring, compassion and just taking the time to know what our son was all about allowed her to use specific strategies and techniques for his development.
